It had just over 80,000 on it & was a great price. 7,500.00 Single ... Read More

Pace Edwards Co. makes covers for both ford and mazda trucks. the cover it self is also really nice and weather resistant. it retracts in to a canister in the front of the bed. the best price i have found on this cover is at http://truckaccessoryplace.com and shipping is free :)

I just purchased a 2008 Ranger from Mullinax Ford Apopka, Florida. Paid about $12,300 brand new for the XL regular cab with air and payload package. The four cylinder is quite peppy with the manual transmission and I am very happy with the performance. Buying experience was very good as it always is at a Mullinax dealership.

The rear-end ratio vs. how you drive has a lot to do with what you actually get. My window sticker says 21 city/26 Highway for my 2008 Ranger 2.3L, 5 spd with 4:10 gears. With 4:10s the engine never "lugs" ( i.e. loses intake vacuum) from 30 MPH on up in fourth (direct drive). I religiously use Cruise Control on the highway - set the tach at 2750 RPM which is ... Did you buy it new? If so, start talking to them about the Lemon Law of your state. After something like 3 or 4 attempts to fix a single problem under warranty, if they cannot fix it, they are required to buy the vehicle back from you. I would think a little discussion about this - you will get some concentrated action on repairing your truck.

Just picked up a new 2008 ranger w/ 60 miles on it. It was between a new ranger and an 04 tacoma. The sticker on the ranger was 16.5k and on the tacoma 12.9k. The tacoma had 34k miles on it, and was at Scott Clark's Toyota City. Here are my two experiences: 1) I orginally picked the tacoma because of how they hold their value. Just a basic, regular cab ... Can anyone explain to me whythe official EPA mpg on the Ford Ranger 3.0 and 4.0 liter engines has varied so much in the past seven years? I am interested in purchasing a used Ranger in this range of years. I would prefer a 4WD 4.0 liter with manual transmission. Since 2001, this engine has been OHC and 207 hp.
