Brake problems

  I have a 2004 Ford ranger. I have had both 4x4 hubs, rotor, and brake pad replaced within the last 600 miles. I am now having squeeling from the front right that goes away when I touch the brake pedal , and both rims are very Hot. Any suggestions!

  would not go foward or back !!! I freaked and floored it ! a huge clunking noise like something broke loose. This has happened 3-4 times.. and it dosn't seem to be a cold or hot weather situation.!

  I unpluged the connector under the reset button, and it looks a little melted. I think i'll change the connector and button. thanks for your help

  it sounds like your fuel pump shut off switch has gone bad, and needs replaced. If it keeps kickin out on ya... It should go in and stay in regardless of fuel level, it should only kick out if you are in an accident.. Ford Tech

  My truck ran out of gas today and the problems started. I have plenty of gas in it now but it will barely start and run. If i push the fuel pump reset it starts and runs so long as i alternate between holding and pumping the reset button. Is my fuel pump toast? If it is, how hard is it to change? Where is it located?   When I use my turn signals and signal to turn left I get a loud buzzing and if I push the turn signal all the way to the top it will work. If I use it in the normal way I get this loud buzzing and the turn signal does not work. Any suggestions?

  I have a 98 ranger my problems are simillar. but i have a check engine light on what it could be is a vaccum leak at the upper intake plenum it's plastic and warps or cracks ford has since came up with a new one thats not all plastic

  I purchased a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge 4.0L, 5-spd at Varsity Ford in Bryan, TX on Aug 31. MSRP was $20,810, sales price was $19,134 (not counting factory rebates). Sales experience was the best I have had out of 8 new car purchases in the last 20 years.

  Ford is coming out with an all new Explorer this spring as a 2002 model. It will be larger than it is now but smaller than the Expedition. Engines will be SOHC 4.0 base with a 4.6 Trition v-8 optional. It looks alot like a baby Expedtion. Should be pretty good competition for the Durango. Maybey the Ranger will follow suit....
