1995 Ford Ranger faild Fuel Evap Test

I have a 1995 ford ranger 4 cyl. 2.30 eng. I tried to have it smogged today and it failed the fuel evap test. I understand this has to do with a leak in the fuel system from the tank to the fuel pump. Leaking fumes. If some one can let me know a good place to start. should I replace the fuel fill hose or ck the vac. hose from the tank to the fuel pump? would be happy with any help ... Read More...

Well how about that? I went to www.ford.com and selected Vehicles, then Ranger, then Options, and....... they don't have a seat with power options. Only a 'manual lumbar' feature. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I have no idea when they stopped power seats in the Range, and know of no easy to find out. Maybe people reading on here will say - "I've got a 19xx or 20xx and it has power ... Read More...

hey i have a 99 ford ranger 3.0 v6 flex fuel that is doing the same thing, not starting and i replace the crank sensor , checked the coil pack, the battery is good,,,, i have no clue what it is i'm about to try a new key and see if that works. did you ever find out the problem with yours? please respond Read More...

I have a 1995 Ford Ranger 2.3L It Runs fine but when its cold out the belt makes noise. It sounds like its coming from the A/C Compressor. Is this something that will go away when it gets warmer outside or will I need to get it fixed? How much do you think it would cost? My 1998 Ford Ranger 4 liter auto with electronic shift on the fly seems to not be shifting into high or low 4wd. The dash light indicates 4 high but not low. I read the post about solenoid but I am wondering if it could be a fuse problem before the solenoid. Any help appreciated. :( Read More...
