I've done a lot of work to this truck. New tranny, brake calipers, rotors, stereo, lenses, timing chain and gears, water pump, freeze plugs, new AC, fuel sending unit, gas shocks. Although I inherited it from my brother for free, I've spent over $4200 getting it road worthy again. The paint is still in great shape. Handles well.
Red interior. This is the only Ranger I've seen with that color. A lot of gray out there, yuck! AC is great now it's been converted to 134a by PepBoys.
The T-bird Turbo Coupe engine would have been a stellar offering. The Mustang 3.8 would have been a good alternative to the Vulcan 3.0. A Turbo 3.8 would obviate the need for the 4.0 engine. More comfortable seats (back rest NOT curved). Extended cab should be standard, need luggage room on trips.
