2012 Ford Mustang GT 2dr Convertible (5.0L 8cyl 6M)
Wow. That is all that is needed to be said. This car is for anyone, aged 16-116 who wants to own the most fun/dollar vehicle on the market. With sleek 1969 Mach 1 tribute styling, the 2012 Mustang GT gives everyone the opportunity to own a piece of Muscle Car History and be the baddest car on the road. The new Mustang is extremely light compared to the Camaro and the Challenger, and with the 6- Speed Manual and 3.73 rear end, this car is like a rocket, both in the straight line and in corners. It is extremely good looking, extremely comfortable to drive, and is unbelievable fast for the price. Highly recommended to Everyone.
The 2012 and 2011 are pretty much the same in the base GT like I've got. However, new to 2012 is the automatic headlights and Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) with any-speed settings, including Standard, Comfort, and Sport. Mine is equipped with the Brembo Package, with 14" Brembo front rotors and Brembo 4-piston calipers, which will get the car to stop as fast is it will go. The 3.73 ratio is a must for anyone who likes to turn green lights into green flags.
This car is intense to say the least, as it comes out of the box, but with Ford's available Ford Racing Accessories, including Power Packs, Handling Packs, and other must have accessories that can be installed from the dealership, you can take your Mustang one step further, I added the SVT mufflers, which give it a much more noticeable growl, and the Ford Racing 1.0" Lowering Springs, which do wonders for improving cornering and wheel-hop on launches. After installing the springs, the amount of wheel hop is negligible.
