Re: 2009 Mustang GT V8 manual [skvp1]

Hello: I'm running into similar issues with a 2009 GT I just bought in August. The trans is louder then how I think it should sound. Bought it back to the dealer twice and the technician stated he hears something but wasn't ready to say anything was wrong. He did comment that he thought the sound was coming from the trans. He sent out an inquiry to Ford to see if there ... Read More...

Comparison - 2010 Camaro SS vs. 2009 Challenger SRT8 vs. 2010 Shelby GT500

Re: flawed test [akirby]

The 2009, when I purchased my Challenger, the 2010 Mustang wasn't available. The Camaro was just ramping up. So I only had the Camaro and the 09 Mustang to compare to. If there is a big difference than good for Ford. My Boss has a 2009 Mustang with the Glass roof. The exterior is beauitful but the interior looks so cheesy and has a cheap feeling. As for the Challenger ... Read More...

2009 Mustang GT V8 manual

I just bought this car new June 2009. Three days later I notice a clunking sound when shifting at low RPM from 1st to 2nd. I drove a Honda Prelude for 13 years and never heard a cluncking sound with my manual. First Ford told me they didn't hear it. Today they said they heard it and it is normal due to shifting at low RPM. They purposely put play in there otherwise the rear ... Read More...

Article Comments - 2010 Ford Mustang GT vs. 2009 Nissan 370Z

When we last left the 2009 Nissan 370Z, it had just laid a drubbing on BMW's little 135i. We then proclaimed, "The 2009 Nissan 370Z raises the standard for the sport coupe segment to a new level of affordable excellence." 2010 Ford Mustang GT vs. 2009 Nissan 370Z Read More...

Article Comments - 2010 Ford Mustang First Look

Remember when we were all talking about the return of the muscle-car wars? You know, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, 2009 Dodge Challenger and 2010 Ford Mustang locked in a V8-powered, testosterone-saturated, mustache-stroking, smack-talking, bitch-slappin', patch-laying death match? That was great. Good times. Way better than the housing/financial/automotive ... Read More...

2009 Mustang

Re: 2009 vs 2010 [bmw335xi]

The current model Mustang was supposed to be styled after the first generation. From what Ford has posted on the '10 model, it looks like it's going to be styled after the late-'60s Mustangs. I can't wait to see the whole thing. These teaser photos are too much of a tease. Read More...

Ford Mustang Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Re: 2008 Ford Mustang, Bullitt Edition [mike8194]

Sounds like they applied the cash/rebate to arrive at that price. Check Ford's May programs. The main edmunds site shows people paying a little over invoice, so I think you could get that pricing plus any incentives/special programs. I see plenty of Bullitts in inventory still, and read that of the 7,700 to be built for US and Canada that some will be part of the ... Read More...
