I am looking for anyone that owns a 2006 mustang premium with the pony package, and is having sever issues with the check engine light and Ford can't fix it. I heard there are 4 cars in the state of Florida that are having these problem. I've been having problem w/ my 06 Mustang and the Ford dealer and a private garage can't figure out what's going on with it. If I come to a stop, either at a light, stop sign etc etc, sometimes my car will not take back off when I press on the gas pedal. I have a 2006 Mustang GT Premium. The 'Service Engine Soon' Light comes on due to bad gas (too much sulphur?). I took the car in to the dealer and he said they will fix it again (This is the 2nd time in 16 months for this problem). He recommends adding Techroline (sp?) every 6 months (a few drops). The TSB was dated November '05 and I bought my car in December '05. I should have been informed that there was a problem with the tops. I don't think that you would want to be sold a pacemaker with known problems. The repairs will cost 1/10 th of the price of the car new and 1/3 of the value of the car now. Just purchased 2006 v6 mustang,torch red with white shelby stripes and 20 inch chrome wheels.So far after 1 week all ok but read so many forums on problems.Main fault seems to be paint quality,paint on inside of door handle literally peeling off and flaking on sills.Everything seems to be put together on cheap,uk ford cars seem much better standard but car just ... There is a TSB on this as well, apparently sulfer contamination can mess the sender up that is located in the tank. Some fuel system cleaner my help if you don't have time to get to the dealer. First, 2005 Mustangs had this problem much worse and for 2006 and 2007 the fuel tank was redesigned. However, people are still reporting this problem with the 2006 and 2007 tank. It is not clear that replacing the tank on an 06 or 07 that had the redesigned tank originally will fix the problem. Second, different pumps do produce different results. I have a 2007 V6 ...
