    I have had my 2006 Mustang GT for over 5 yrs. It is hands down the best car I have ever owned. I have never had one single problem with it. I have owned approx 15 cars in my lifetime. I think I will keep this one for a long, long time.

    Hey LL-COOL-J Ford sold 166,500 mustangs in 2006 and so far I see 3 complaints on this blog. Do you really think that you are hurting Ford by all this complaining? I say take your Ford and trade it in for a new Chevy and your problems are solved but wait a guy of your ethics would not give your problem to someone else right.

    My '06 stalls out 30-40 mph whenever it wants. Its very tempermental, I took it to several dealers and after replacing the fuel pump if nothing else its continued to stall out. No one has been able to fix it no codes either. I say trade it for a Camaro its what im about do! Forget about Ford.

    Yeah the 2006 C.R. magazine had the Mustang rated pretty good, it was recommended. Ratings were much better then VW, Saab, most chevy/gmc/pontiac/BMW/Mercades and all the other cars ford makes. Just a little side note. The report also listed models with the most reported problems over the past 5 - 10 years and believe it or not the number one was an Infinity, FX45. D

    The Stripe problem is caused by a Ford supplier, the adhesive is bad. My side stripes were replaced by a local vendor, and paid for by Ford. The car has been washed several times with no stripe problems noted. The graphics shop that replaced my rocker stripes advised that mine was the eighth mustang to be repaired by them since 01-01-2006
