Ford Mustang (2004 and earlier)
SAW NEW MUSTANG
Hello people, I've never posted here before but had to after I saw the new mustang at the auto show. Let me begin by saying the thing is madness(yeah it does have a clear roof)and it looks like Eleanor! THey had the MACH 1 and '03 Cobra sitting next to the "concept" GT and it made them look like has beens (think: the 5.0 next to a new Mustang)! I know, there is a great possibility ... Read More...
New Cobra???
I've been reading about the new mustang, and I have a couple questions if anyone knows the answers. Will Ford be releasing the new mustang in 2004, or 2005? I've heard it both ways. Also, will there be an SVT Cobra still available?? If anybody knows, I would greatly appreciate it! Read More...
Mustang 2004
Gesh, I know I'm getting old, but not to realize that the 2004 Mustang is coming out and has the same appearance of my very first Ford Mustang, 1968 Tang fastback with the 289HP and I even added a 4 speed competition HURST in it. God, can't wait for the new one - Last time I got this excited - I licked the paint of my Tang ! Read More...
Another ragtop fan.....
personally I can't conceive of buying a hardtop Mustang. I've always been partial to Mustang 'verts. Owned one, may buy another. April 2003 will be the intro date of the new production Mustang. The should be in showrooms. by late spring or summer '03. The 64 1/2 designation was never actually used by Ford Motor. Those early Mustangs had data plates and titles that ... Read More...
2005 mustang eh?
well, presently im in the market for a new Ford Mustang GT. I was gonna wait til november of 2003 to purchase - but it looks like i should just wait for this new one to come out. I went to the NAIAS show in Detroit to see the concept first hand - and I have to admit - that retro throwback styling is great. Even though I do like the current mustang's design too. When i first saw ... Read More...
want to see the 2004/5 mustang GT
The best picture that I have seen was on the Ford website at: www.ford.com After getting to that page go to the bottom and click on the "2003 auto show"link and it will show all of Fords concept cars at the Detroit Auto show. The picture is a concept but is 90% final (I was told some of the "toys" may be added or removed) but besides that this is it. I was also told that they ... Read More...
2005 (june 04) Mustang
Guys and Gals: I just came back from the Detroit Autoshow and wanted to report back to you all. The 2005 Mustang is awesome to say the least. The are plenty of new cars at the show (GTO, GTP, New Audi, Subaru's, etc) but nothing caught my eye as much as the 2005 mustang. I must be be thinking right as it was named most significant design for this year's show. I have pictures ... Read More...
2004 looks terrible
The new 04 model looks like my grandpa's caddy on crack. I love mustangs preferably 88 and up. But this new model makes the Mustang begin to look like every other car on the road. Stop trying to bring back that retro look Ford! Mustangs are supposed to have that outstanding look. One that turns heads. Not this ugly thing. I never thought I'd see the day when a mustang ... Oh, by the way..........................
I can't wait for the new 2004 Mustang design to come out. I hear that it will be unveiled next month in January 2003 at the Detroit Auto Show. I want to buy one within the next 2 1/2 to 3 years. I will wait until all the quirks ( if there are any ) are ironed out. Also, the price of the new design Mustang will be more reasonable after 1 to 1 /12 year from its initial sales date. ...
