Review

This is my 3rd mustang. My first with a v8. True to its title as an American muscle car, it lacks the refinement you would find in other types of vehicles. Drafty inside with a lot of interior noise. Choppy ride ... but despite all this it is still my favorite car ever.

Favorite Features

Modular V8 is silky smooth. Awesome performance per dollar. Aggressive styling. Super reliable.

Suggested Improvements

Interior noise is horrendous. Ride is choppy.

2001 Mustang Convertable

Review

I purchased this '01 Mustang with 44K miles already logged. Mileage is now 68K with only one tune up and a change of disk brakes pads. Very reliable, averages 23mpg all the time. Convertible top is very easy to operate. Great fun economical car. Looks fast sitting still. :-)

V6 Contertible Mustang

Review

My ford mustang was purchased pre-owned and has not given my any problems yet. My mustang is fun to drive and is very reliable. The durability is also great compared to a more compact size car.

Favorite Features

The black convertible top with the black intereior leather look great with the white exterior paint and the black decals.

Suggested Improvements

the convertible V6 although has the same horsepower as the coupe does not seem to take off as fast. the v6 contertible base model should have more tork.

Its good but the only problem is that there isnt to much room in the back seats and that causes a problem sometimes. The trunk has a small opening to it also

This car is awesome. I have owned several Mustang's over the years and this by far is the best. Traction control makes those times when I get stuck in the rain not so scary. The retro interior and Torque-Thrust style wheels send me back but with 28 mpg on the highway I can pass gas stations that a 68 Mustang would have had to pull into. With only 5500 produced finding a nice one may be a challenge but if you do, buy it, you will not regret it.

Retro interior and wheels, Traction Control, Mach Audio, The ability to smoke those annoying rice burners

429 V-8 option (hey you never can have enough horsepower), Better stock tires (Goodyears smoke off too easy),

Review

Love the convertable. Easy to use. Wind noise is noticable, but not bad for a convertable. No problems so far with the car (about 38,000 miles on it). Gas mileage is ok ~ 24 miles/gallon on average.

I love this car. It is a blast to drive! I dont care where I need to go as long as I'm driving the Cobra I have fun doing it. I added a few modifications to increase the power and improve on the suspension and have it just how I wanted it. I would highly recommend this car.

Tranny is a little stiff in cold temps at first start, Car would be better if Ford lowered it from the start, I had her lowered 1.5" to get it just right.
