Review

Absolute joy to own. The only problem I've ever had was a dealer mistake where they overtightened the oil drain plug stripping the bolt and causing a leak. Had it fixed, no other problems.

Favorite Features

Availability of racing parts and accessories from ford and the dealer installs. There is no badder looking car than an "EDGE" style 'Stang.

Suggested Improvements

Needs more horsepower, the factory tune and transmission settings are for grandmothers.

Review

I always take the long way to work. That sums up my experience with the car. There has only been one problem in over a year of ownership, and that was the top. Ford fixed it under the EXTENDED warranty. Really surprised me, and was much appreciated, considering what I've heard from others about Ford. Awesome looks, sounds great, faster than 99% of cars on the road, been super reliable, 281 cubes, and American muscle. My former Acura was nothing in performance and reliability compared to this. Goes to show if you treat a car right and maintain it properly, it'll love you back. People gripe about the fake scoops, but look at 60/70's muscle cars and tons have fake scoops too. I love 'em!

Favorite Features

V8. Torque. Burble. With an aftermarket exhaust, it's mean and puts any import to shame. Respectable mileage; even with price hikes I drive it everywhere. Shifter's clunky, but handles being hammered. RWD. Never got stuck, even in UT snow. Everyone feels special when I take the top down.

Suggested Improvements

Any muscle car can use more power. Seats have no support. But the new Stang basically fixed all that.

Review

This car puts a smile on my face every time I get in. I owned two other 'Stangs and this is the best naturally aspirated Mustang I've ever driven. No one can keep up with me on a cloverleaf. It sticks to the road like a go cart.

Favorite Features

Torque baby, torque, handling. Average 20-24MPG combined with 270 horses.

Suggested Improvements

Black is hard to keep clean.

Review

I bought this vehicle in February 06 and now 5 months went flying by and there isn't a day I don't give thanks for the opportunity of purchasing this great vehicle. All the hype, and history behind it, along with the extra mods, make this GT the best ever built. Accelerates great, looks awesome, and is truly an investment.

Favorite Features

All the extra features, the history, and the raw power.

Suggested Improvements

Really needs a better shifter. Best mod for any Mustang.

Great Car!

Review

I love this car, it rides very smooth and has great acceleration and pickup. I find the seats to be comfortable and they have a nice grip to them. Fuel economy, it's a sports car! When I drive it reasonably I get decent gas mileage; when I get on it, I don't. This is a very fun car, I traded a 00 GT for it. To me it beats the GT in all aspects. It gets lots of looks and people ask me to rev it a lot. It's a Cobra :) More than a car, a symbol!

Favorite Features

I love the Cobra emblems on the sides, the Cobra letters on the rear bumper. The Cobra's in the seats, the interior itself is awesome. The speed; at 3k RPM it really starts moving.

Suggested Improvements

I know Ford put the 3.27's in for fuel economy, but if I wanted fuel economy I wouldn't buy a Cobra. Put some 4.10's in there! I will be soon. :)

Review

Great car. Looks great, performs great, just cant be beat for the price. Only problem I have is that I can't shift into 5th over 75 mph without the gears grinding a little.

Beautiful car, interior is perfectly designed.

Suggested Improvements

The V6 could use more power. If these other companies can get 280 hp out of a 4 cylinder, why can't this six push the same?

Super Mustang Bullitt I love this Car!

Review

First Mustang I have owned.. I am a old car lover of fast cars. Always owned 442s and fast Chevys. Did not like the Mustang when it first came out. Loved it when the Bullitt came out. Could not find one at first. Someone traded this low mileage Bullitt in for a pickup and I happened to be at the dealership when it drove in and everyone said "WOW."

Favorite Features

Can not believe how fast and fun this Mustang is. Just drive and have fun as you go from 1 to 5 gear quickly! The quality of the Mustangs produced now are comparable to anything on the excellent car market. My next car will be a GT Mustang in the next 2 or 3 months; my Bullitt will stay with me.

Suggested Improvements

If I had a single complaint it would be the shift to reverse.That's all. I plan on buying a new GT Coupe soon and it will be a 5 speed manual of course!

I love this car more than anything. I have never driven a car that felt so much like pure muscle. I have driven imports like the s2000 and WRX as well as others. But this car here, let me tell you, is a must have for any man needing a boost. Everything about this car is pure muscle, no turbos, superchargers or anything like that. I have a full Bassani exhaust as well as Steeda Stage 2 suspension kit, lowered it about 1.5 inches. Short shifter and K&N filter. 350 horses baby. There is nothing else like this car so if you find one in good shape buy it!

2nd gear / exhaust.

Maybe raise the hood a little more.

Review

Great cornering car with lots of power to accelerate through tight/high speed corners. I previously owned a 1994 Mustang GT and the Bullitt is clearly superior in all respects.

Favorite Features

Short throw shifter, brushed metal pedals and accents, and the front seats.

Suggested Improvements

Rear mud flaps to protect back fenders, an analog clock, and a racing harness to hold the driver more securely on the turns.

Ford Loses A LOYAL one

Review

After leasing Ford Mustangs for 12 years that covered 3 GT's fully equipped - I learned the hard lesson of buying a Ford. My last Mustang GT had so many various problems that Ford continued to ignore that my engine blew with 61k miles. I have had 2 tune ups. oil changes on time, a new fuel filter, 5 new coils and so on. Ford takes no responsibility in their failures and the defective Mustang. I am never never going to buy a American car again. Not only because it was a horror on wheels but worse - a corporate giant like Ford wanted to rip me off for $7,000 dollars to fix again - (my mechanic $1,000) - never again will I be caught in American cars. I learned my lesson and they lost a customer forever.

Favorite Features

Power - when all coils and sparks are functioning. PS - My CD player works when it wants to. Thats about every other week. No one can fix that either.

Suggested Improvements

Have Japanese manufacturer -- FORD HAS FAILED!
