This car is great everything has been
trouble free and we already have over
70,000 miles on it it still feels like
new. Everything works correctly and we
havent had any problems. I would
recommend this dealer: Cella Ford of
New Bern,NC(they gave us a great deal
we never even had to go listen to a
salesperson speil, test drive what you
want at a different dealer then call
them up and tell them what you want
they gave us invoice and low apr with
no down at all (4.9 apr) great car!!!!

I bought this car for my wife in 2000.
The next day went out and put 2 stage
flows on it to make it rumble. It
guzzles gas, is a little sluggish on
the bottom, but once it gets going it
is fairly fast. My Ford F150 has more
torque and is quicker off the bottom.
Overall, it is fun to drive, but is
very loud (ragtop)and the tranny has
already gone out. Thank god it was
under warranty. It has been a fun car,
but it rattles a lot and feels loose
with only 27,000 miles. I won't buy
another one.

I think this drop top is a great bang
for the buck. It has aggressive and
beautiful styling and will give you the
power you want. I love the shifter! But
the cupholders are too close to it.
Someone in the ford company messed up
here! When you shift to 2nd or 4th you
always hit it cup, leading the contents
to conveiniently spill all over! But i
find the interior to be comforting, it
flows away from you, leaving the
feeling you have more space. This car
will make you crave what the 8 has in
store. The leg room is no problem but
don't place to be bringing anyone
around in the back seat comfortably,
but then again, this is not to be
mistaken with a minivan!

I bought my 2000 V6 Mustang new, since
then I have had nothing but
problems...A/C went out the second time
I used it, the power driver seat had to
be replaced 3 times, the engine valves
rattle, the convertible top had to be
replaced after 6 months because it was
splitting at the seams, the CD player
had to be replaced twice! I could go
on and on but way waste my time. In
closing, the car is for sale now and I
will NEVER by a FORD product again!

I bought this car used with 3200 miles
on it. Saved about $5k over a new
one. The car has been ok since I've
owned it, I have a couple problems with
it though. First is the throwout
bearing noise which Ford refuses to
admit to hearing. Second is a rear
chassis squeak that they of course
cannot hear neither. I rarely drive
the car now so these nuances are not
that big of a deal. I just installed
Steeda Sport Springs and I can't
believe the improvement. Ford should
have put these on from the start!
Otherwise, I love the exhaust note and
the power.

i haven't liked a single mustang since the early 70's until now. the body
style and SOUND sold me! i've added new springs, exhaust, intake and a
NOS kit (shh!) which gives me close to 400 h.p. there's nothing like leaving a
a civic at a stop light in the wake of my V-8's rumble! i looooooooooooove
my mustang and have had no problems mechanically or otherwise. also, i
got rid of the cheesy spoiler and the car is now beautiful!

I do love this car, and I often get compliments from strangers, and more often
than that I get stares. But it developed a stalling problem the week I bought
it. Then the clutch started rattling, then it got recalled for the parking break,
then the stereo died. All that is now fixed, but it has left me a bit sour. For
the money you're hard pressed to find a more powerful car, and it IS a blast
to drive, although it's a bit choppy over bumpy corners. Some Mustang
owners have had no problems at all - it may be worth the risk. Oh yeah and
the seats absolutely suck.

had 2 other new stangsmach tape/cd
systems are very good ..2 v-8s ride
is like an amish buckboard on
standard factory tires. put on
michelien 15s from my 95 cr vic..much
better softer on bad roads. still
gets the looks in red and white
ragtop. good mileage on the
highways..25 to 27. gt v8 could be
snappier. mach cd/tape is good. love
it. makes this 63 aged guy feel 40.
not as fast as 5.o engines
seemingly.love the feel of steering
controls. wish it were only a two
seater...wasted small rear seating.
