After buying this car, I joined a
Mustang Club and proceeded to make
modification upon advice of other
members. My car stays garaged more of
the time than not, due to Car Show
reasons... Seldom driven in the rain.
Modified Exhasut System, FlowMasters,
Bassanni X-Pipe, 3.5 inch tips.
Underdrive Pulleys, K&N Airfilter,
Diablo SuperChip, 9MM SVO Racing Wires,
Racing SplitFire Spark Plugs, Steeda
Tri-Ax Shifter etc.... Love My Stang!!!

As a previous owner of Mustangs and
Camaros I am used to the "crudeness" of
this type of car and enjoy it. Simple
plan, stuff a V-8 and a manual
transmission in a small car and - poof -
you have a fun ride!
I have had this thing for over a year
now with no problems (except trying to
find excuses to drive somewhere!).

I bought this car after I turned 50 and
I wanted to be cool, well I am cool but
also very frightened of the fast
driving everyone else does here in
Florida. I travel over 30 miles one way
to work and I would keep this car if
the gas milege were better. I love to
put the top down and just enjoy this
great Florida weather.

I bought this car with 14,000 miles and
it has been perfect to 62,000. Amazing
handling with power. It sits much
nicer than the GM cars, and is more
economical as well. I can get 29 mpg
on straight highway driving. Town is
not nearly as good (around 18). Sweet
car, looks great, and insurance is not
that bad - just get married and turn
25! However I have the automatic and
would suggest a manual!

When I purchased my mustang in 1997 I
was told by many people that I would
not be happy owning a Ford. Of course
they said 'found on roadside dead'
etc. I loved the way the car drove
and I six years later still love it.
So far the only things I have had to
do in six years is change the oil, the
tires and the battery. NOTHING has
broken, the radio, A/C and top all
still work fine as well. Yes, there
is some leaking now. Also surpising
is my gas milage. Its a 6cyl manual
so it should get good milage. It gets
GREAT milage. 32 highway 25 city. I
could not be happier.

Where do I begin?
I just had to get rid of my Mustang
because I needed more room being a
musician and student, and I really
didn't want my car to get in the
middle of some war path of dents,
scratches, and high mileage. (I drive
a 2000 Ford Explorer Sport now.)
Although this car was a 6 cyl
automatic, it was still a Mustang, and
it was so much fun to drive.
The body style was awesome, and sure
it turned heads...I was
very "neurotic" about this vehicle; it
was my pride and joy. I would highly
recommend this car to any "car
obsessed" person like myself who can't
afford the high insurance on a GT. I
will own another one VERY soon.

A very good handling car that is fun
to drive. Gas mileage is decent too,
around 24-28 mpg depending on the type
of driving you are doing.

I BOUGHT MY CAR NEW AND AFTER I GOT
20000 MILES ON MY CAR, I HAD A HARD
TIME KEEPING IT ON THE ROAD. I TOOK IT
IN AND HAD FRONT IN ALIMENT ,AND I
BOUGHT NEW TIRES. THE PROBLEM WAS STILL
THERE. NOW I HAVE 60000 MILES ON IT AND
THE CAR WAS OUT TO KILL ME.
TOOK IT BACK AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS
THE RIGHT AND LEFT LOWER CONTROL ARMS
WERE NEEDING TO BE REPLACE. ALSO FOUND
I HAD A REAR MAIN SEAL TRANSMISSION
LEAK. AND OIL LEAK TOO. I ALSO HAD TO
HAVE AN IDLER PULLEY REPLASED. AFTER
ALL HAVE BEEN DONE I STILL HAVE A
LITTLE PROBLEM PULLING TO THE RIGHT.
THANK GOD FOR EXTENED WARRANTIES YOU’RE
GOING TO NEED IT.
