I bought this car years ago, from first owner who really cared for it. It had 135k miles, but looked great and ran really well. Owned as a second car, only put 20 k miles in 5 years, but never had any problems (surprised at the quality since everyone complains about American cars, me included!). If you can find a clean one they are a great ride, very fun and economical compared to the GT's that are usually beat, and eat gas. Great looks too!
The ride is VERY comfortable for cruising with the top down - VERY FUN!
Allow the seats to recline further (as the back seat is rarely used).
I bought my LX convertible from a guy that refurbished the entire body and had the car repainted bringing it back to its luster of 14 yrs ago. The car has less power then I thought but that might be the age showing. Still drives smooth which at this point is what I wanted in a gas saver vehicle.
Looks. Respect the Fox body style! (and the Mustang II).
