1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra 2dr Coupe

Kelly is quick, reliable and gets looks everywhere she goes. I am so happy she lets me be with her. OK I bought the car used (48K) and drove her up from AL to NH. Throwout bearing was bad; so she was broken in a beautiful way. I had an AL flywheel, clutch and pro5.0 shifter installed, and have never looked back since. Never any buyers remorse. Performance is 8 only because she is not a "supercar" and "only a pony car," but proper aftermarket mods can change that in a hurry.

Best Features

The entire car....Teksid hand built engine and Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). Available aftermarket mods are virtually endless. This is a feature of the Mustang.

Worst Features

Buy her anything she wants. She's worth it. ok she is cupholder challenged, but an "ultimate cupholder" mod will fix that.

"The entire car....Teksid hand built engine".... this is NOT the engine is this car. It is a WAP block, look it up. I still want to buy one even thou the WAP block is more weak than the teksid. Both are band built

1996-mid 2001 are, in fact, Teksid blocks. About half of the 2001 cobras are the Ford WAP block.
