I just bought an ex cop car, it just
had a rebuilt engine put in it 5000
miles ago, but the car has 147000 miles
on it. It could use some more torque,
but it's got a good midrange (say from
40-60) and the interior is in pretty
good shape, especially for bein a cop
the massive engine is my favorite part
of this car
Like I said before, it needs more
torque, but otherwise it's perfect
My 1990 Crown Vic
(purchased new) has 315,00 miles on it and it runs like a top! I have replaced the radiator, alternator and spark plugs on it.
I wish I had bought three of them.
It runs very smoothly and has great pick-up.
It is very comfortable.
The trunk space is great and it gets 20 miles per gallon at home and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.
I feel much safer in it than smaller cars with better gas economy.
I wish Ford would make more cars like the Crown Vic.
New cars just aren't built to handle bad road conditions.
They fall apart.
