Bought the 2012 Ford Fusion SEL FWD 3.0L V6 certified pre-owned, have been driving it a little over a month now.
Previous vehicle was a '98 Dakota pickup, so yes lol, quite a difference.
I love the driving experience.....handles great, nice acceleration when the higher revs achieved, especially using the manual automatic mode.
Comfortable, quiet, pleasant leather interior, enjoyable sound system.
I look forward to driving it each day.
A few complaints, for no vehicle is perfect.
The transmission can shift awkwardly at times, especially in mid-RPMs.
Rear visibility takes getting used to, and windshield rear-view mirror gets in the way when looking right.
Glad i got the car......
Exterior design (love the chrome grill)
Acceleration (especially in manual automatic mode)
Heated Powered front Seats
Dual Climate Control
Nice Sound System
Dual exhaust ports
Transmission can shift awkwardly at times (though a lighter/heavier foot negates most of this, as does the manual automatic mode)
Rear visibility limited by deck and pillars
Rear-view mirror make forward-right visibilty difficult
Power rear windows sluggish
Takes quite a while to defog windshield in mornings
Engine compartment very full, not a lot of room to maneuver when examining/working on it.
Power:Mileage ratio just ok...maybe the 2013 2.0L turbo engine takes care of this....but for the 2012 if i had cared more about the mileage I would have gotten the 4-cyl I suppose lol.
