2010 Ford Fusion Sedan SPORT 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

Review

I really enjoy my Fusion. It has great power, fun to drive and very comfortable. The 3.5 liter engine has all the power anyone would ever need and gets respectable fuel mileage. I get about 16-18 in town and mid to high twenties on the highway.

Favorite Features

Power, comfortable seats, quite and smooth ride. Mine is red and it really looks good inside and out.

2010 Ford Fusion Sedan SEL 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A)

Review

This 2010 ford fusion is an absolutely beautiful car. Most people don't know where the transmission problems come from. There is a plug on the bottom of the transmission if you change it like the owners manual say's [engine oil every 5,000 km trans every 30,000 km is what I do ]Don't be mad at the car or the builder cause you bought a car that someone didn't do the proper maintenance on. This car for the price and for what you get is a awesome car. If your looking at buying a used one I recommend you change the trans oil when you get it and again 10,000 km after then 30,000 km there after. when you drain it only 5L comes out not the 11L it holds the reason for doing it 2 times so fast

2010 Ford Fusion Sedan SPORT 4dr Sedan AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

Review

Have had the 2010 Sport 3.5L AWD (with Nav) for over 5 years now. No problems other than battery replaced under warranty. Has been very reliable, not even a squeak or a rattle. Ride and handling fine.

Favorite Features

Sync, 8" screen, blind spot monitor, cross traffic alert, back up camera, rear radar sensors. AWD and 263HP make it a fun safe car.

Suggested Improvements

HID headlights would be a wish for it replacement. . A wish for any potential replacement new car would be to bring back the 6 cyl, real automatics and hydraulic power steering, dump stop start. What is the point of spoiling an expensive car to save a few miles per gallon.

2010 Ford Fusion Sedan SEL 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6A)

Review

My brother went from his '96 Taurus to a '10 Fusion SE. He decided to buy one after I got my '12 SEL. The cars has 85k and it's been great so far. Occasionally the cap less fuel door has to be cleaned otherwise it triggers an error. The car is still very solid, but does have an odd rattle from the exhaust. No performance problems though. My brother also likes the SYNC system, and finds it easy to use. The car achieves about 18-22 mpg city, and 24-29 mpg hwy. He has a VERY heavy foot, so he doesn't quite get excellent economy, or close to what this car can get. I however get about 22-24 mpg city, and 27-31 mpg hwy. We're both happy we made the right choice with the Ford Fusion.

Favorite Features

SYNC, exterior styling, sunroof, build quality, rear park assist (backup-sensors), rear spoiler

Suggested Improvements

Better rear cup holders, better rear visibility

Review

I did not learn that the engine powering this car is well-documernted for going into limp mode. This means you suddenly have no throttle response, just steering and brakes to get you to the side of the road. Ford dealer replaced the throttle body-3 days later, same problem. The service advisor informed that that nothing more would be done, since they couldn't 'replicate' the condition, despite having found codes (they didn't say what codes). Bottim line-I have to pay off this car and buy another. Hopefully, I won't get screwed again.

Favorite Features

Lively performance for what it is-until 'limp' mode strikes.

Suggested Improvements

Don't buy a Ford.
