I have found the Freestyle to be practical, roomy and fun to drive. It handles like a sport vehicle and gives a nice ride at the same time. It is very flexible in that I can quickly convert from a roomy carry all to a practical 7 passenger vehicle.
Extremely smooth shifting, responsive steering and good fuel economy. I love the hauling and seating capability.
I am used to a quieter ride with Ford vehicles. I would strongly suggest improved noise isolation. If you compare a Freestyle to an Explorer and give the Explorer a 10 for quiet ride, the Freestyle is a 7.
