Consumer Reports shows the Freestyle as an average used car bet for reliability - which is not bad at all - audio systems being the weakest area. fordwrench: If you look around reports on the internet and you will see that there are many reports of major problems between 60-70k miles. Maybe "happens" was a poor choice of words. very weird gas gauge
