    MFT is still on target for 1st Quarter - not sure where you got the 2nd or 3rd quarter estimate from. Ford won't allow fleet sales to affect resale value. That only happens with fleet dumping to rental companies and that's not happening. Focus sales for January were the best since 2003 and up significantly from 2011.

    Hey, we reolaced the intake manifold (plastic) aqnd were left holding a suction hose that we don't know where to connect? the dealer has no clue,and so do local mechanics. the engine light is on and it calls for the oxygen senser to be changed but we feel that the vacuum hose needs to be connected first. anybody has an idea out there we would appreciate. thanks Z

    I have a 2003 ford focus that when in drive and it picks up speed, it has a hard surging feeling. I have had the trans fluid, and filter changed. It helped a bit, but the problem is still there. I was told to try the speed sensors. If that doesn't help, anyone have any suggestions.

    merryem, our is fine, no issues at all. its a cheap fix for a problem that can be realy costly if you go to the "wrong" repair shop. Scan the codes, follow the easy steps. done. Note, ours is a 2003, differences in the trannys may be small but there may be differences. GL Dean

    I read to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect it. My display was flashing on and off constantly, whether the radio was on or off. I disconnected the battery, waited 10 minutes and reconnected the cable, and it works fine now - no more flashing!.

    Yeah, fluid is fine. It has been doing it since about 60k and it has 85k now. Took it in and had it looked at when I first noticed it and was told that "all is well."     Number of things. If the light is on, in the dash, it is telling you that 4th gear is being locked out by the computer (PCM). It might be a bad temperature sensor, which would refuse 4th gear if the trans were not hot enough.     I would not take a blender to a Ford dealer to get fixed. It is funny how they always seem to find hundreds of dollars worth of repairs on your vehicle.     skapunkeric , If if fact you have coolant leaking when you shut it off. (green and slick feeling) it could well be your pressurs cap is week, if it's just clear water then this may just be your a/c drain which is normal. hope this helps.

    try unhooking the battery cable for atleast 30 seconds, it resets your computer. Then turn on again and see if it doesnt reset your trouble light. I find many trouble lights on ford focus are false alarms. Then, if the light comes back on or never goes off, it is probably legitimate issue.     This particular vehicle does not have any markings on the body or notations in the owner's manual to indicate that it is a PZEV. The Ford dealer nearby is high quality in my eyes and this particular service advisor has dealt me straight before.

    Hi. I recently had freon added to my 2001 ZX3. The mechanic searched and searched and finally referred to his computer guide. Anyway, the frean went into a port that was located behind the front passenger tire. He had to remove the tire and a bit of plastic around the wheel well to get to it.
