2002 Ford Focus ZTS 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 5M)
I bought this vehicle to avoid nickel-and-dime problems that were starting to appear in my 2000 Sunfire. Little did I know that I'd have the Focus in the shop four times over the last seven months. This has quickly become the most unreliable car I've ever driven, and I'll never buy a Ford again. I'll be trading this car for what I knew I should have bought in the first place - a Honda Civic.
Gas mileage is great, especially on the highway. That's what sold me on this vehicle.
Despite rave reviews from companies like Consumer Reports, my experience with the Ford Focus has been dreadful. Be weary of buying one unless you actually enjoy spending lots of time and money on repairs. And if you do, what's wrong with you?
