I've been out of the country for awhile (since Jan), but I've been watching the prices, and rebates on the Flex. By July I should be home, and will pick up where I left off at the dealers. Hi Car_Man, I'm in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale). Could you please get me the April lease rates for a 2009 Flex Limited FWD? Also, I see you've posted 15K miles in your replies. Hi yolanda4510. I can give you an idea of what Ford Credit's current lease program is like, but I do not keep tabs on US. Bank's program. Ford's current lease program for the 2009 Flex varies by region. I see that you are in its Detroit region. Well, with X-Plan pricing, you at least know the maximum you should consider paying. You may also qualify for an additional $250.00 in rebates if Ford offers them in your area under the X-Plan. On that particular vehicle, there's about $1,200 in holdback to the dealer, so you've got that much negotiating room until you hit the theoretical best conceivable deal. ... Read More...

I too had the same concern last week. Ford's current lease rates don't expire until 6/1/2009 so I doubt they will get better or worse in May. They can, but I doubt it. I'm leasing one in May too and I did have one dealer tell me the lease was bad this month but will get better next month because "Ford is getting back into leasing".
