Hardly a fair evaluation of the reliability of an automobile when you bought it with 100,000 miles - especially when compared with the experience of people who bought the car new. Had you had it fully inspected after you bought it, a credible mechanic would have identified most of the issues that caused the problems you note - none of which can be attributed to initial build quality.
