2014 Ford Fiesta Hatchback S 4dr Hatchback (1.6L 4cyl 5M)

Review

new fiesta 12.5 worst car ever owned and every part of ford customer relations ,service, finance, and every department in ford I have had the unpleasant pleasure of dealing with .After purchasing car from new to transport foster children and my own relatives children safely to school and there various activities safely. After 3weeks of owning the car it had a intermediate fault, loss of power stalling at junctions and de acceleration it as been returned nearly every month for 15 months and still not rectified .I have been accused of being a liar because a computer says there is no fault showing and I can not drive after 30 years. Child safety is paramount to me. Trust ford they don't care

Favorite Features

None apart from my whole experience with ford is a joke sleepless nights, undue stress, lack of concern for child safety and welfare. And TRUST FORD logo.TRUST FORD TO RUIN PEOPLES LIVES

Suggested Improvements

Start careing for cutomers not profit it's customers who made ford not greed. And don't ask a dissatisfied customer for money to return a unsatisfactory car to you or resolve problems by suggesting we buy another car

2014 Ford Fiesta Hatchback Titanium 4dr Hatchback (1.6L 4cyl 5M)

Review

The front has a fully independent suspension, but rear has only a cheap beam in the back. And the rear bottoms out on bumps. Engine has Zero torque from A standstill when flooring the accelerator. The gas economy is not 29/39. My trip computer at 15,841 miles, says only 17mpg city and 26 on the highway - I challenge Ford to come and look. The only way this car could have ever gotten the epa estimated 29/39 is, in my opinion, with an anorexic, midget, driver and the only thing in the rest of the car including the trunk was a toothpick. lol. The transmission was rebuilt after only 12,000 miles. The grinding noise continues which is the result of duel clutches

Favorite Features

I put as high as 3 for comfort because the sound insulation and engine noise are low and lower than most other subcompact cars I tested or ones consumer reports. I put 3 on fun to drive because on the expwy: the engine, transmission, steering, and braking are very responsive. The engine is especially quiet and moves the car along effortlessly even at high speeds. The visibility is better than average. The trans grinding people report only occurs when shift 0-2. At 3 and above it's stable on my car. The rear seat is not one of my favorite features because it is severly cramped. And the electrical system failed causing false warning icons and the alarm going off every 20 minutes.

Suggested Improvements

Completely change the transmission and put in a high quality, reliable one. Put an independent suspension in the back like you have in the focus. That rear bar is what I call a "no suspension." Get this car up to specs on the fuel economy advertised. Get some decent torque in this engine. Fix the rear seating space so passengers can fit in this car. Fix the rear windshield view which is much harder to see though at night. Extend the warranty on this car to 10 years like Kia, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and Chevrolet, so people don't go broke after the basic warranty runs out. Consumer reports published annual auto issue says the cars reliability is below average and so is Focus

2014 Ford Fiesta Hatchback S 4dr Hatchback (1.6L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I have an automatic 2014 Fiesta S. There is an issue with the lock/unlock button being in the center of the console. I don't have an automatic lock and unlock key so this can be very hard to unlock the car, then get in and push the button in the center of the console to unlock the rest of the doors. I also don't have cruise control. This should be an option that is automatic to the new cars. Other than that I love the car.

Favorite Features

The car is brand new.

Suggested Improvements

I want cruise control to be on all new cars. I also want power locks to have it on the keys as a must.

Review

I love this car! I got the Blue Candy, Black leather interior and upgraded Sony Stereo System and love, love, love, this car. It's zippy and rises to any traffic occasion. 40 HW MPG is as advertized. The interior is roomy for a sub-compact. I got the optional rubber floor mats, and they're very high quality. Opted for the tinted windows at Auto Definitions in Claremore, OK and it just looks meaner than before. Responsive steering, braking, and acceleration make this a fun car to drive. We've turned heads and brought men out of a barbershop to check it out! Love the car. Great Value!

Favorite Features

I can't say enough about the car. The extra touches like the ambiance lighting in multiple colors, Sony sound system, voice activated features, my ford touch, auto shifting manual transmission, capless fuel filler, blue candy color, hidden trunk compartment, everything! I just love this car! 40MPG highway is fantastic!!!

Suggested Improvements

I wouldn't mind a built in garage door opener like my 2007 Toyota Prius had.
