Powershift Automatic Transmission Failed
By Arizona SunDevil on

Vehicle

2011 Ford Fiesta SE 4dr Hatchback (1.6L 4cyl 5M)

Review

Lime Squeeze Green color is attention getting. Automatic transmission failed at 660 miles while on a road trip from Arizona to California. Transmission apparently is brand-new to Ford in the USA and Ford dealer in Riverside, CA didn't know how to fix it properly. Called Ford Zone Customer Service and filed complaint. A brand new vehicle should not required a complete transmission replacement at 660 total miles.

Favorite Features

Push-button start and exceptionally good highway fuel economy - 40 mpg on the interstate. The car gets lots of looks because of the BRIGHT green paint color.

Suggested Improvements

Better transmission build quality - larger gas tank to increase range. My Suzuki SX4 Sport never had a major failure like this Fiesta has!
