I bought my 1993 Festiva new, and
even though I keep thinking I need to
get a new car with modern options, I
like it so much I can't part with it. I
have replaced the exhaust twice, the
brakes once, the tires once with
some extras for nail punctures. It's
getting harder to get 12 inch tires
which is a problem. I drive it in New
York City and the size helps a lot
when I park on the street. It's
amazing what will fit into it.
The small external size with lots of
space inside. Reliability - you get in it
and it goes. Repairs are relatively
inexpensive. Great gas mileage. It's
Bigger wheels so the tires aren't so
hard to replace. Could use more
power for accelerating onto a
highway. Modern seat belt design.
