Review

I love the size and towing capacity of this truck. It is a pleasure to drive very long distances, and the Powerstroke diesel engine runs and pulls flawlessly. I was unhappy with the number of warranty repair items that were required. Overall I am very pleased with the truck.

Favorite Features

I like the seats. They are extremely comfortable on long hauls. I like the ruggedness of the frame and springs. This truck is a great hauler.

Suggested Improvements

Front Axle and Springs are extremely old in design. Would like to see an independent front suspension. Has been extremely hard on the front tires.

Review

I'm very pleased with my F350 Dually, it is actually way more truck than I need. Pulls trailers lke there's nothing behind it. MPG can be scay on hilly hauls - as low as 10, but average 15 mpg. Highest was 19 mpg, lowest 9 mpg. ABS light comes & goes - dealer cks it and resets. Replaced clutch assembly on 5-spd for a grand, but oil, brakes, tires are the only tings it has needed. Fantastic truck!

Favorite Features

View! Can see anything, large mirrors are great too.

Suggested Improvements

Hate the drink holder - drinks always fall out at takeoff. Could use a little noise dampening. MPG: would be nice if better, but it is a huge truck!

Review

I have owned this truck now for over three years. I have 220000 miles on it. I replace tires and u-joints every 75000 miles. Other than that I have not had ANY problems. It does not use any oil and gets around 12.5 miles to the gallon. This truck is a V-10 with duals and I LOVE IT !!!! I should easily get 500000 miles out of it.

V-10 Motor is awesome! Rugged and Durable

Suggested Improvements

Change the gearing in the tranny to run the engine for the most fuel efficiency at 55 MPH instead of 42 mph.

The Best Dam Truck Bar None

Review

This is the best truck I've owned or operated. The large mirrors and the extensive glass makes the visibility in this truck wonderful. The XLT/Lariat trim and deisel are well worth the money. Either trim ungrade improves comfort on long trips. The deisel power is super. I can cruise at 75mph and truck will not lose 2mph pulling a 5500 lb trailer up hills. In the ballooning business, the Ford out number the other brands 2:1. The truck has been in the shop twice in 2 3/4 yrs and was fixed the same day. That's pretty good for a Ford. The A/C lacks in city traffic on 100+ deg days. Maneuvering a 25 ft vechicle in and out of parking lots can be challenging.

Favorite Features

The diesel power and large mirrors. Cab is very roomy and comfortable. The long wheel base handles extremely well on the open road.

Suggested Improvements

The cup holder gets it the way if a third person sits in the front seat. Heated front seats. A better turning radius. The A/C lacks on 100+ deg days.

This has been the longest I've owned a truck.I used to get a new one every 2 years.I though about selling my truck,but after seening the prices of trade-in I'll keep this truck for a few more years.It still performs as it did new and I love it.

Harley Hauler V10

Review

I bought this truck new and have been hauling Harley-Davidson's with a 20 foot enclosed trailer. The 6.8L V10 4X4 will pull anything I put behind it with ease at any speed. The leather interior is plush and very easy on a biker's rear. This F350 hardly knows when it is going uphill. This black truck looks great with my black trailer in tow. I can't think of a thing I would change, and it's Ford trucks for life!

I have owned Dodge and Chevy Diesels like this F350 and NO ONE comes close! All I do is drive it, oil, brake, and tire it on a regular basis and it just keeps going. The others have all left me on the side of the road,not F350 Powerstroke. Fuel econ stunk until I superchipped it at 130k miles. Power is unbelievable. Have not compared to new duramax tho.:^)

Favorite Features

Roomy, powerful pulling, VERY comfortable interior. Ease of maintenance. Durability of entire vehicle.

Suggested Improvements

Fix fuel economy. Seats could recline a bit more. Leave engine alone, work on the transmission shift points, open air intake and tweak fuel air mixture. Already a great truck, just needs a few adj. make incredible!

Review

Although I have only had this vehicle for 5 days, I drove it from Colorado to California. It cruises at hiway speeds with no sweat. It sits very high and is easy to drive. The interior is roomy and comfortable. I traded in my 1999 F-250 XLT 4x4 truck and I really liked it also. I ran a carfax vehicle report on it and everything is clean. It is a luxury type vehicle in a truck body, yet tough enough for any hauling task or off road adventure.

Favorite Features

Shift on the fly four wheel drive, beautiful teal blue paint, luxury interior, power and torque of the diesel engine and overall appearance and performance make it a great vehicle.

My truck came incorectly equiped from the factory. After 18 months, Ford still continues to refuse to install the missing option OR give me a refund for the missing item! Truck is used to transport five children to/from school in rural Montana. Truck has been used in snow and dirt. Rear brakes unable to withstand resulting in failure of $450 rear rotor. Cam sensor failed leaving me stalled on the road in sub zero temps in the middle of nowhere. Two injectors failed. Did I mention it gets 8.5 MPG? All this in the first 36K miles! I found the vehicle unreliable and expensive to operate. Found Ford customer service to be terrible.

Favorite Features

Cab is very comfortable and roomy. The truck handles extremely well in the snow.

Buy a chevy!

the f 350 simple cab is a very strong work truck comparetivly considering its got leafs front and back fuel consuption is high with the diesel considering other truck are better like the new gmc duramax and a lot quieter. the standard seat sucks big time when your are plowing snow your back feels like you just did 18 rounds with mike tyson the dash looks like a lego set.come on ford you can do a lot better
