Review
Very comfortable, quality ride,great mileage, the very best truck I have ever owned. truck #6 for me have owned dodges,chevys, gmc and now 2 Fords and am very impressed with this truck above all others.
Favorite Features
4x4 system is a great and also lifesaving feature, being able to shift on the fly for a limited slip traction advantage while tooling down the road can really help if road conditions change when you blink. the front diff. lock can really put the rubber down in mud or dirt when needed,
Suggested Improvements
If I new how to improve it I wouldn't say it here but sell it to Ford, because this truck will be a winner for years to come.

Review
I absolutely love my super duty. The diesel engine has a lot of miles on it already, but still runs like a gem a, and outpulls many brand new trucks of other brands. I will never buy another brand after owning a super duty.

gotta be the diesel engine. love the torque, and gets descent milage for a huge truck

Review
Wow.. A real tough truck to say the least. They hold their resale value better than Dodge and Chevy. The Powerstroke is the only way to go. Drove the big 3... the Ford is hands down a better Vehicle. They are also the hardest to find on the used market which might tell you somthing. As far as fuel... what are you crying about? Its a one ton Dually! 13 city 16.5 highway loaded or empty. Its better than an Expedition.. or Navigator. My 4WD Ranger only got 15-17 MPG. This is a true commercial vehicle with more power than you could ask for without buying a Semi Truck. And by the way... trucks are supposed to ride like trucks!

The Powerstroke Diesel... Don't buy the gas engine unless you own a filling station. Resale values are over book value.
Suggested Improvements
Interior is a little thin... Leather seating is not durable and is very thin. A better gage setup would be nice... oil temp-turbo-trans temp etc. a tougher rear bumper would be nice... brighter back-up lamps would be nice.

Love the dealership/don't care for Ford. 6-8 months after purchase all the glow plugs had to be replaced!? Truck pd in full May 2000. That summer the tranny had to be replaced as 5th gear went out?? Hit 36K That meant spending $3600 out of pocket. I called ford they wouldn't help at all!! Electrical problems started after 3rd yr. Inner and outer lights stay on.....

It's like riding in a Cadillac.Love that powerstroke. Handles great. Has lots of power but eats lots of fuel.

this veichle is great when used for what it was made for....to tow things.whatever i pull,this truck makes it seem like nothing. but as far as commuting back and forth to work,it is the pits.there isnt a gas station it doesnt like and the ride is rough when not towing. overall an excellent veichle!!

Review
Had trouble with truck since day one. First with an engine skip "clogged injector". First snowfall, found out 4 wheel drive didn't work. Shortly after 36k warranty expired electrical problems began, lots of $$$ to repair and still lots of problems. Leaky steering/brakes power assist unit. I called ford to ask for help with these problems, they told me that they were sorry but no vehicle is perfect.

This truck performs and handles very well given its size. Extremely comfortable for up to 5 passengers. Very durable and dependable. Truly lives up to the motto.

Digital temperature guage and compass. Capability of handling a large load.
Suggested Improvements
Fuel economy, only getting 13.4 miles per gallon.

THIS IS THE GREATEST TRUCK I'VE EVER OWNED. THE POWER IS OUTRAGEOUS AND THE FUEL ECONOMY (DIESEL) IS GREAT FOR THE SIZE AND TORQUE IT HAS. YOU COULDN'T WISH FOR ANYTHING MORE IN A TRUCK.
