Check my posting # 195 of December 3.. I had an almopst identical problem with my 04 diesel. Have not had one problem since the Dec. 3 repair.--ie Ford changed out both ends of an electrical connector which was giving an erratic fuel pressure signal. GG Read More...

Bought my used truck year ago and all seemed fine. after 3 months while sitting at a red light truck just quit. ( like turning key off ) so restarted truck and away i went. month later same thing. Now it has got my attention. now truck will stall out when Im slowing down to go into a turn or at 80 - 120 k`s its wants to quit ( hasn`t yet) It is now doing this about 6 to 10 times ... I have a 1996 F250 4x4 with an E4OD transmission. Recently, the speedometer stopped working and the OD light started to blink. According to posts that a found at several Ford forums, this usually occurs when the ABS speed sensor fails. Hi texvet im new to this site however I own a 72 F-250 2wd the steering can be a number of things but the first thing to check is the rag joint between the steering box and your steering shaft they are of a rubber and cord type material and wear fast especialy if engine fluids leak on it, it will soften the rubber and cause alot of play in steering brake fluid is real bad on ... I have a 1996 Ford F250 Diesel, it's always been a good truck and given me good mileage, however over the last 6 months my mileage has went crazy.I am not sure how much I am getting per gallon but know that it is less than half of what I was...I make some regular trips from Indy to Maine...and I find myself fueling up 3 extra times...any suggestions?
