i had a 2004 F250 6.0, the EGR cooler was leaking. Bolton ford told me to bring it to them. It had 88,000 miles on it. They said it was still under the 100,000 mile warrenty. I drove it to them and they said it will be ready in 3 days. On the second day of them having it they called me and told me that it was not under warrenty due to the over 5 years old(barely). IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A NEW TRUCK DON'T BUY A FORD. THERE 6.0 IS JUNK AND THEY STOP MAKING THE 6.4 BOTH ENGINES COMBINED DIDN'T MAKE FOR 10 YEARS. I WAS SOLD ON FORD TILL NOW . i HAVE A F250 AND 450 THE 250 BEEN THE SHOP 11 TIMES IN THE LAST YEAR. I have a 1995 Ford F250 Super Duty with a E40D transmission. Last week I was pulling my 32ft trailer up a mountain pass when the transmission went into a down shift mode untill all I had was engine RPM/throttle when you hit the gas. I wasn't pushing it. I have a 1995 Ford F250 with a 7.3L. Had to replace a push rod in number one cylinder. Now I can't get it to start. Is there any way the trouble shoot the sensors in the system. It is acting like there is no fuel getting to the cylinders. I know there is fuel in the lines I have found a few leaks. Read More...

I'm looking at a 1995 Ford F250 Styleside XL H/D SuperCab 4x4, with the 460v8. It has 114,000 miles and they're asking $5,800. Is this a good deal? It looks to be right a blue-book, but what kind of problems can I expect to find on this truck with this many miles? Any other user experiences with a similar truck? Thanks! Read More...
