Spontaneous Acceleration of 2008 F-150

Have had several episodes of truck suddenly accelerating. Even with brake pushed to floor, truck continues to go full throttle. After placed in neutral and tuned off/on, goes back to running normally. Has happened in drive and reverse. Each time has been at slow speed or slowing to stop. How does the moss magnuson act of 1975 section 2302 interfer with a extend warrenty? The Ford extend warrenty states you will follow the maintenance manual. Why are people buying the 6.4 and paying almost $7,000 more for 3 dollar fuel and a smog filter that costs $3,000 and has to be change at 100,000 miles, which is not that long for a diesel. sticker was $32450. Paid $20098. This was a Texas/Oklahoma edition with the chrome package. Interior is pretty basic, but the outside looks fantastic with the running boards and chrome bumpers. This was at Billingsley Ford of Ardmore in Oklahoma. Dealership didn't even put up much of a fight. They had the price of $22500 after rebates. Told them I wanted to pay ... Read More...

we too have a new F150 STX bought in August 08. Since then it has been in the shop for almost a month. It has had 14 new tires of different brands, new rotors, new drive shaft, and no difference. The Ford engineer said it was not fixable to our service manager. Then he told the Division person it was in an "acceptable" range. How is it acceptable when at high speeds it shakes ...
