i bought a 1995 f150 4x4 in 2007 it had 95,072 miles.the only thing i hate about it is that the truck is weak. It has no top end torque. It cant even do a burnout unless the road is wet. But what can you expect out of a 5.0 liter v8 302 with about 172 hp. I think I can help you. I have had this problem on past vehicles. I now have a 2007 Ford F150 Crew Cab and it was doing some of the stuff you were describing. I bought a set of Bilstein heavy duty shocks for this truck. I put them on front and back and the driveability improved 100%. I have a 2005 F150 5.4 triton V8 w/ 46800 mi. My cousin has a 2006 5.4 F150 with 51,000 miles, My business rep has a 2007 5.4 super crew with 54,000 miles. all 3 and more I have easily tested have the same engine shake vibration at 1300 to 1800 rpm when revving in park or neutral. Lab88: The only way to know a "good deal" is to shop around, check prices, and be willing to make a deal. The elusive "best deal" is all up to the customer and their requirements.
