Ford F-Series Pickup Lease Questions

Re: FX4 Lease Rates [8bowtie3]

Hi 8bowtie3. I don't believe that Ford Credit provides information on its lease program directly to the general public. Its current base lease rate and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2007 F-150 Super Crew FX4 with 12,000 miles per year are 1.25% and 54%, respectively. the numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are 4.25% and 49%. The numbers ... Read More...

Fords spit out spark plugs and Ford does not care

I have been a Ford fan and customer for 40+ years.....but that has/is changing. My 2002 F150 Lariat Supercrew with 66,250 miles spit out a spark plug while I was on vacation. Luck had it that it happened at a start up and not while under way in traffic, which would have seriously endangered my family; not to mention the fire hazard. The servicing dealer (not my home ... Re: 2007 6.0 sttroke [waz95]

Yes, I have some help and advice for you.....as soon as it is repaired, trade it in while it is running and buy a gas engine version of the F-250 or a F-150 with the Triton engine. We had two Ford F-250's. The first was a '99 with the 7.3. We had next to no problems with that truck. We made our big mistake in October 2004 buying a 6.0 F-250 Lariat Super Duty. February 2005, ... Re: ford leases again [jbd2]

Ah ha, jbd2. I guess that I should have read ahead. Here's the 24 month, 12,000 mile per year data that you're interested in. Ford Credit's current 24 month, 12,000 mile per year base lease rate and residual value for the 2007 F-150 SuperCab XLT 4WD are 1.5% and 58%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2007 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4WD are 0.75% ... Read More...

Re: Nice... [gasguzzler007]

I have a 2002 F150 Lariet Supercrew with 66,250 miles. While on vacation a couple of weeks ago it blew a spark plug out of the head. This occured, not while driving, but when the truck was started. It could have been a very serious situation if it had happened at speed in traffic. Not to mention the potential for fire. Both the servicing dealer (not my home dealer) and ... Read More...

Ford f150 seats

Just test drove a 2007 F150 XLT Supercab. Liked most of what I saw. A little concerned about support of drivers seat. The back was too flat and I felt like I was going to slide to one side or the other during turns. Anyone have a similar problem. Did you get use to the seat? Read More...

Full-size pickup sales - F-150 best selling truck, but for how much longer??

(Yeah I know the 250 is a heavier duty truck than the other two, but it doe

To:cptchetco "You are a funny guy" How does it not matter when your comparing a F-250's Load rating,Tow capacity, to a 1/2 ton Tundra and Silverado/Sierra? I'm still laughing! Can i use the GMC-TOPKICK for the comparison then? lol.......... Also the 2007 Motor Trend Truck of the year> Silverado (1/2)Ton gets better milage with a class leading 367-HP engine ... Re: Spec's for Fullsize Pickups 2007 [kgford]

True but misleading. While Ford offers that 3050 payload package, very few are sold thusly equipped. By far most F-150s sold have an under 2K payload. Also, at 8200 GVW, it hardly qualifies as a "1/2-ton," at least not as they are commonly known today. Bob Read More...
