Ford 2007 NEW 4x4 F150 Supercrew

We're being offered a new 2007 4x4 F150 XLT supercrew for $23,500. The sticker is $32,153. I know it's a lot off the sticker, but these trucks obviously aren't moving. Is this the best deal we can get? Read More...

Re: 2008 F150 XLT 4x4 [chris89c]

Chis: I bought a 2007 Harley Davidson in December with the saleen package, discounted it about 7K off MSRP and they RARELY move off those vehicles. I'd look at invoice for your truck as the starting point, then subtract the rebates or choose the financing option. Based on what I remember the invoice of that truck is likely lower than 30K, given a 33K MSRP. I'd suggest ... Read More...

Full-size pickup sales - F-150 best selling truck, but for how much longer??

Re: new F150 [dino6]

Great post. A very good breakdown of the market. I am hoping and praying i can purchase a new F-150 and give America one more shot at producing a quality, long term vehicle. My biggest concern is that Ford is not as financially stable as GM and has not pumped the necessary cash into their products to get the quality back up. I own both a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis and ... Read More...

Ford, better up your game

Mr. Rube...True enough about Big3 being tougher than Tundra. I own a 1st gen. Tundra that is a total city truck; never worked an honest day in its life. Reliable as it gets, as was my 394K '85 SR5. But, I looked at the video of the 2007 Tundra crashing and smashing around on a washboard. Disgraceful. The Ford was well-controlled, as was the GM truck. Boxed frame or not, ... Read More...

Ford F-Series Pickup Lease Questions

Re: 07 XLT Lease [newtrix]

Hi newtrix. Ford Credit's current 36 month base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 F-150 SuperCrew XLT 4WD with 12,000 miles per year are 3.0% and 51%, respectively. Using these numbers, an MSRP of $30,559, and a selling price of $24,743, I come up with a zero down, pre-tax monthly payment of around $305. I see that you are considering trading ... Read More...

Re: Lariat lease residual [rdb0222]

Hi rdb0222. You never mentioned if the F-150 that you are interested in leasing is a Regular Cab, Super Cab, or a SuperCrew model. This matters because Ford Credit's lease program for it varies by trim level. For now I will assume that you are interested in the SuperCrew. Let me know if that is not the case. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value ... Read More...

Re: Flexy beds cant be worked hard in fields! [farmerrube]

Hey Rube...we grew up on farms too with F 250's and Cheyenne 2500's with 454 V8's. You know as well as i do that real farm work must be done with heavy duty 3/4 tons or more. Half tons are not and never will be designed for heavy duty use. You can put as big a springs and lift kits and big tires on half tons all you want but that does not change the fact that the frame is not designed ... Read More...
