Review

Get 20 mpg on the high way all the time. Use Motor Craft oil in all changes. Always starts, A/C is cold, comfortable for long trips. Companion can put seat down or a child can sleep on back bench. Tinted windows are what I would have installed in another vehicle. Just the right tint. No rattles.

Favorite Features

Link the 60/40 seat with arm rest. Tint is not too dark for nighttime driving. Good lighting for night driving and to be seen from the rear. Enough power for me to drive and haul products if necessary. Rides very well and I have not had a single complaint of rough riding since I purchased the truck.

Suggested Improvements

Better CD player in the dash. Longer lasting ball joints. Move the speed limiter up a little so dodges don't outrun me all the time.

Nice truck

Review

This my first truck and I am sure glad it's a Ford F-150. This has been 100% reliable and lives up to it's built tough title. My truck will most likely be another Ford, if they can get the fuel efficiency up to that of the Toyota Tundra.

Love my King Ranch but...

Review

Love my King Ranch F150, no majar issues after 110K miles besides normal wear and tear with mechanical, brakes, etc. Interior leather is the best, will never own another truck besides Ford King Ranch! Only problem I had is rusting on the inside of lower door panels. Rust warranty would not cover that repair, dealer told me it had to be rsuted all the way through for warranty to cover which was upsetting to hear. I tried to repair myself but the rust along the inside edge keeps returning. I plan on buying a new 2009 King Ranch in a year, Ford builds a great truck!

Favorite Features

King Ranch leather seats! Leather seats clean up great with King Ranch leather cleaner/conditioner. I have dogs that sometimes scratch the leather but the cleaner removes the marks. The leather is a saddle leather, not painted leather found in most cars and trucks. You will not be disapointed!

Suggested Improvements

Wish the bed of truck was longer for a crew cab but then it may not fit inside my garage.

Great Truck

Review

This truck is the most fun and practical vehicle I've ever owned. Not only is it the fastest truck on the road, but it can also tow or haul nearly anything. Only drawback is lots of high octane fuel.

Favorite Features

Supercharger, wide 18" wheels, dark shadow grey, 380 stock HP

Suggested Improvements

IRS, 1.5-2" Lower, 19" or 20" wheels. Upgrade to Kenne Bell SC as factory option. Factory boost guage with a higher scale so you don't have to go aftermarket. Some kind of anti-knapp material on the suade seats where you get in the truck.

Review

This is my 1st time buying an American vehicle and this truck has been only problems since I bought it. (new) I took it in to SVC dept. because it kept loosing power and shutting down and it turned out to be a wiring shortage after spending a whole month in the SVC dept. and changing different parts in it. Now at 51000 the transmission has gone out on it. Besides all the problems my truck ran smooth and I love the space in it but I will not buy another Ford again!

Favorite Features

My favorite features about my truck is the space in the inside and still having room to fit things in the bed.

Suggested Improvements

Better transmission along with anything that has to do with the engine.

Review

Body style and interior are great design. At 35K I had rust on the underside of all four doors (something to look out for if purchasing one). Dealer repaired but concern is still there. P/U sleeps inside a garage nightly. With today's technology I did not expect this.

Favorite Features

Interior. From 2004 up the interior looks cheap and made of plastic, unless you are looking at a King Ranch. As with other American MFGs they cut costs in the wrong areas.

Suggested Improvements

Design and install a better looking dash and interior in future models.

Love My Lightning

Review

There is something special about driving a pickup truck that can run off from most of the fast cars on the road. I love the reactions I get when people driving cars that have been sold to them as fast, witness my farm vehicle leaving them in the dust.

Review

I loved Ford and Harley Davidson for years and this truck is the epitome of performance and style in a truck. Anyone that has the opportunity and means to own one should take it. I love it and even my children will love it when I can give it to them.

Favorite Features

The comfortable interior sound and feel of the engine when you floor it!

Suggested Improvements

The only thing I could possibly think of is a 10 pound pulley instead of the 6 pound pulley that comes stock with this particular 5.4 V-8. Also a gas mileage meter with the built in compass. Other than that I can not say there is much to improve upon.

I have found that the Ford SuperCrew trucks are almost the perfect vehicle for people with a family. You can combine the comfort of a car with the usefulness of a pickup. I love my truck. I have had NO repairs other than basic maintenance (knock on wood).

Favorite Features

Comfort...Style...Reliable.

Suggested Improvements

Could improve the turning radius; it can be a little hard to park in tight spaces or (straight in) parking lots, The lots that provide angled parking are much better. Larger fuel tank...I drive a lot and have to fill up 2-3 times per week.

Review

This is the 3rd Ford truck I've owned and they all have been very reliable. My 2003 F-150 FX4 is the best one I've owned. It has very good styling, runs great and is fun to drive. I haven't had any problems at all (knock on wood). I'll definitely buy another Ford truck.
