2001 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4dr Crew Cab XLT 4WD LB (5.4L 8cyl 5M)

Review

I purchased my Superduty with the
Powerstroke diesel, manual 6 speed and
single rear wheel for one purpose: to
tow a 30' 5th wheel RV. It is great!
I've hauled my trailer up the steep
grades in Death Valley, the Sierra
Nevada mountains and southern Oregon
without a problem. I can hold 50-55 mph
up 6% grades without a problem. All this
whilegetting 13-14 mpg (18-20 mpg
unloaded). The crew cab has plenty of
room for our two kids and 85 lb boxer.
It has a comfortable ride and handles
great considering its dry weight is 7200
lbs.. It cost me $10,000 less than the
comparable GM with the Duramax engine.
I highly recommend the Ford PSDs for
your towing needs.

Best Features

Great hauling power, good 6 CD sound system, lots of interior room, telescoping tow mirrors.

Worst Features

Tougher, more scratch-resistant paint.
