2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4dr SuperCab XLT 4WD LB (5.4L 8cyl 6M)
Searched and compared. Have a 2 horse
straight pull trailer with dressing
room to tow. Trailer GVW at 7,000 lbs.
Ordered F-250 with 3:73 gears, tows
very well and gets better than average
milage for it's size. Solid and hefty.
Handles the trailer nicely and was
ordered to do so. Rides well either
empty or working with a load.
Completely seperate fuses for the
trailer! I blew a fuse on the trailer
back up light, and was pleased to find
all the lights of the trailer are fused
seperately from the truck. So if per
say, brakes or markers short on
trailer, will not affect the truck...
Nicely thought out.
The flip down center consol of the
split bench seat should be mounted so
you can slide it back and forth as you
do the bench seats. Or at least be
given the option of adjustable bolt
holes so owner could move the padded
consol seat either forward or backward
to suit the comfort needs.
