Love this truck but you will have issues along the way.

This is a wonderful truck to own. It looks good drives good and is dependable. However, expect one if not all of the window regulators to go out. Ford used cheap plastic parts so the gear will go bad eventually. Second, the spark plugs for 04-08 models were designed poorly and get seized into the heads. Expect a bill of anywhere from 800-2000 to replace them as Ford charges by hour to remove them because they break off. Last, the timing gears are plastic and break and result in thousands of dollars in repairs.
VCT Solenoid & cam phasers also go bad. Google all the known issues with this truck first. These are the major ones to expect. If you're able to work through them it's a good truck.
Power. Running Boards. Interior Room. Adjustable Pedals. Lumbar Seats. Over-sized side mirrors. Turn-signal indicators in side mirrors. Optional 4WD. 6-Disc CD Player. Passenger Air-bag automatically disabled for passengers under 100lbs.
Rear folding bench seat for additional room. Fog Lights. ABS. Information Display Pannel with MPG calculator and temperature.
Back seat fits 3 adults comfortably.
Automatic door lock at 15 mph. If an interior light is left on, it will not drain your battery.
Towing package. Fun to drive.
Great looking truck.
Durable bumper (I've backed into a few walls & poles and still no dents!)
Recall on faulty spark plugs.
Using more durable parts instead of plastic window motors and gears that eventually break. When my cam phasers went bad it was discovered that the timing gears were broken into pieces and I had to get all the gears and timing chains replaced.
This was very expensive.
I also had my VCT solenoid replaced with an aftermarket part which the dealer said was not compatible with the rest of FOMOCO parts therefore it threw everything else out of whack! I'm not sure if this was true or just them pulling my leg but my truck drove considerably worse after the bad VCT was replaced with a non Ford Mortorcraft part.
