2004 Ford F-150 4dr SuperCrew Lariat 4WD Styleside 5.5 ft. SB (5.4L 8cyl 4A)
I just traded a 2001 F-150 SuperCrew
XLT for a 2004 F-150 SuperCrew Lariat,
both with the 4.4L Triton V8. There
is no comparrison between the two.
The '04 feels like a much bigger
truck, and the Lariat has so many
luxury appointments that it puts my
2002 Mercedes-Benz C-320 to shame.
This is truly an amazing ride!
Much improved horespower, which is
critical at high altitude. The
audiophile sound system is incredible.

I was in the market for a new
family/work vehicle, I took long test
drives in many of the new chevy, dodge,
toyota trucks comparable to the F-150
Supercrew. The second mile driving the
Ford I was sold, Man what a great
truck.... Now I own my first brand new
vehicle ever and couldn't be happier!

The engine (5.4L) idles rough when
stopped at lights/stops signs.
Occasionally tries to stall when
starting from a dead stop. Dealer
unable to solve. Very nice truck but I
am considering unloading it at a loss
because this is so frustrating.
