2004 Ford F-150 SuperCab 4dr SuperCab Lariat 4WD Styleside 5.5 ft. SB (5.4L 8cyl 4A)
A very well designed truck with an
excellent ride, quiet interior and
clean styling. Incredibly comfortable
interior on long trips, great stereo
system takes advantage of the calm
interior, "bold" new rear suspension
system is a winner, good dampening of
frame vibrations. The best half-ton
truck on the market.
Interior design, low interior sound
levels, nice exterior look, very good
ride, great fit and finish - no rattles!
Where did they hide the 300
horsepower? It's still less responsive
than my Silverado and less fuel
efficient, too. Struggles with heavier
towing loads - questionable the tow
2004 Ford F-150 SuperCab 4dr SuperCab STX Rwd Styleside 5.5 ft. SB (4.6L 8cyl 4A)
Not a bad ride for a truck but the
suspension is simply too stiff, I get
shaken around quite a bit when driving
on a not even so bad road. I test drove
the Nissan King cab and I believe the
ride is soo much better as well as the
performance but the reason why I didn't
want it is the constant engine and
exhaust noise. The Ford is nice and
quiet. Dissapointing is the fuel
consumption, I don't get more then 350
miles out of my 26 gallon tank before
the "low fuel" lights up. Overall, a
good pacjage for the $$. I received a
$7000 off MSRP!!
Quiet ride, nice dash, comfortable
More power for the 4.6L, standard PW
and PL, inside covers in the rear
2004 Ford F-150 SuperCab 4dr SuperCab XL Rwd Styleside 6.5 ft. SB (4.6L 8cyl 4A)
Needed a basic truck, paid $19,500 for
a F-150 XL SuperCab from Claremont
Ford. Very sharp styling and interior
design. Ride is smooth unloaded and
even with an 800 lb. load in the bed.
Base V8 has adequate power. Tested
against Chevy & Nissan, but not Dodge.
Chevy's design is dated and the V6 is
weak, & rear seat room is poor.
Nissan Titan: Great engine/trans,
extremely bouncy ride, rear seat angle
is too acute and not comfortable,
doors "cave" in when shutting, flimsy
door handles, no room to negotiate on
price ($24K base).
Low base price. Sharp int/ext design.
No squeaks or rattles. Doors close
solid with a proper "thud". Rear seat
is most comfortable in class. Chrome
bumpers on base trim.
Make rear door open 180 degrees, tie-
downs on floor of bed, more power from
the 4.6 V8.

What an AWESOME truck! Hands down
ahead of the competition. Everywhere I
go people stop and admire the truck.
Even have a Chevy neighbor that is
jeolous of this one. This truck has
the split bench seat up front. Have
had to use a number of times taking 5
other passengers. Again an outstanding
Style, seats, steering wheel controls,
auto temp control, ride
