2001 Ford F-150 SuperCrew 4dr SuperCrew King Ranch 4WD Styleside SB (4.6L 8cyl 4A)
I have 81k & going string. I have put
75k on it myself and the seats are
better now than ever. Treat the seats
and they'll last. Yes I have spilt
everything on the seats from ice cream
to beer to an ice chest w/ an open plug
on a back seat. adds character! Anybody
who gets in for the 1st time
says, "THIS is leather!"
Real leather. twin bucket seats
sticking key, 4wd control to similar to
a/c, it's fixed now
Finally bought this truck Nov. 03 used.
Love it! Lots of room inside and even
with the shortbed. With the leather and
all the options it's like sitting in a
big Lincoln! Reliable so far, runs
great. gas mileage is the only problem,
but it's expected with a vehicle this
Size...still fits in a normal garage.
Interior comfort. Drives well, plenty
Better dash/instrument layout. Guess
they fixed that for 2004 anyway.
Improve highway gas mileage.
Over all, it has been a dependable
vehicle that lives up to the Ford name
and image. The interior is super
comfortable for the driver and all
passengers, front and back. The four
doors is a nice advantage over king
cabs and standard pickups. The four
doors are easier to load passengers
then the king cab, and you have storage
from the eliments for packages in the
back seat, that are not left outside
the cab to be stolen or rained on.
On the dash 4 wheel drive control.
Simple, easy to use stereo system, not
to confusing, but enough features to
give you quality sound.
Improve turning radius, tough to
manuever in and out of parking spots.
Improve mileage rating, 4.6 liter
should do a little better than 14 mpg
