Bought this truck three years ago with 67,000 miles. It has been GREAT! Only repairs were a rebuilt alternator, and brake disks, front. Otherwise, it hasn't missed a lick, great seats, decent mileage. Ride is a little bouncy without a load, but less than my neighbors nearly new Dodge 4 x 4. Would definitely buy it again.
Could stand help with the ride, but I guess Ford knows that, given recent improvements; still, it's better than most.
My ford F150 was my first vehicle, and
I bought it used with 100,000 miles,
and it still runs like a new one. I
always know it will get me where i want
to be and on time. My next truck will
be the same, a more expensive model.
I have a 1999 Ford F-150 XL 4x2 X-Cab,
it is a great truck. I would drive it
anywhere! It has served me well! When
it comes time to trade I will
definiately buy another one. There is
no other truck like it out there.
Could use a little more leg room in the
back, it is tight for taller people
