While I am driving my transmission slips into nuetral and the speedometer quits working and mileage also quits working any ideas what might cause this problem would really be helpful.
Ford did two different designs on that. One they used a rail mounted fuel pump driverside slightly forward towards the engine that pulls fuel trough the selector valve also on the rail drivers side about where the bed starts. Has ford already offered a F-150 with a deisel engine in the past? I was just wondering because on www.kbb.com they have the 7.3 as an option on the engine selection part, well at least on a 1993 F-150. Any help would be nice, that engine would be sweet in an F-150.

I've always believed the Ford give you the minimum service requirements to get through to the end of the warranty period without a claim, after which they couldn't care less. (Mind you, I'm a little cynical by nature.) Anyway, I just checked the official maintenance schedule for my 1993 F150, and the rear axle fluid gets changed at 100,000 miles and the auto trans fluid and filter never gets renewed! Both ...
