Bought my Explorer in April to replace our 2008 Toyota Highlander.
The Explorer is a major upgrade.
We have driven over 10,000 miles including an across country trip this summer.
The Explorer is much nicer to drive than the Toyota.
Much better handling, and the manual mode on the transmission was great driving through mountains.
Gas mileage is generally 19-20 mpg in our normal mixed driving.
But we were getting up to 27 mpg on our vacation.
We have not had any mechanical problems - perfect for my family of 5.
Favorite Features
Manual mode transmission.
Sync works great with my phone.
Suggested Improvements
Get rid of the plastic bar that pops loose on the inside of the back door.
Need a brief 1 page list of all of the voice commands.
The manuals and web site have all of the voice commands, but you have to read through 30 pages of manuals to find them - voice commands are supposed to make it easier to use - not harder.

This is obviously written by a Ford dealership owner or sales consultant. I have driven both the the Explorer is no match for the Highlander.
