2004 Ford Explorer XLT Sport Rwd 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Just bought it for my wife after an extensive research and test drives and she loves it.

Favorite Features

look, power, lights under exterior mirrors turn on with remote control to add security

Suggested Improvements

Extremly gas lover (first full tank about 250 miles/city), dc power source close to dash to plug in radar (had to buy a battery powered radar), hard to fold 2nd row seat to access 3rd row seat.

2004 Ford Explorer XLT Sport Rwd 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

After test driving several Japanese and even German SUV's, I bought my Explorer and never looked back. The styling is beautiful, the ride exceptional and the quality better than I could have hoped for on any SUV. I would, and have, recommend this vehicle to anyone wanting a SUV.

Favorite Features

The exterior, perfect, the ride as comfortable as a car on long trips. The independent rear suspension makes a lot of difference. Much better vehicle than most in the $40,000 to $50,000 range.

Suggested Improvements

It does like to drink gas, but what would you expect from a SUV.
