1994 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4dr SUV 4WD
Supprisingly this vehicle is still running great. There have been only a few minor repairs, but all in all this vehicle has served well. Major repairs with a used vehicle: brakes, fuel pump, bushings underneath causing squeaking. I have read and heard a lot about these vehicles having numerous problems, but I am here to say I must be lucky, cause it has been a great vehicle to drive and own with almost no problems. Purchased at 72,000mi, still going at 130,000mi.
Captains chairs, Auto 4 wheel drive, cargo room, supprising V6 power, reliability
Brakes, Undercarrage noise due to Axle bushings wearing down. Exost line/pipe to close to rubber bushing on passinger side, causing melted bushing, needs replacing every 2 years. Brakes!!!--every 1.5 yrs or less.
