A terrific workhorse that has served
as a daily driver, sports car, weekend
get-away vehicle and utility vehicle.
Bought it new and I'm keeping it until
it croaks (which I wouldn't think is
going to be anytime soon as it is
still in great shape).
Exterior styling. Was a head turner
in 1992. Still a looker today.
Well... there is that teeny oil leak
that would cost $900-$1000 to repair
but... all the services reps say I am
better off to 'leave it be'. Not a
problem on a day-to-day basis but it
is a mess in the garage.
As a Ford man from a family of Ford lovers this is my first Explorer and I must say in the 2 months I've owned it I love it. I'm wising I would have bought one sooner. I had a 92 Bronco 2; it just didn't perform the same. I must say the 92 two door sport is a keeper.
The turning radius on this is awesome; you can turn around on a dime. The 5 speed has great power and pick up for a 4.0.
