2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Value 4WD 4dr Crew Cab (4.0L 6cyl 5M)
I purchased this vehicle because I am going to be having a child soon and needed something with more room. I chose the Sport Trac because of its unique ability to carry passengers and still haul items in the pickup bed. I also chose this vehicle because of the decent reviews it has gotten from most reviewers. Also I love the color (Island Blue)! So far I have 1450 miles on my Sport Trac.
Power back window, smooth engine and transmission, large back seat for passengers, and of course the color.
Ford needs to dump the captains chairs for this model. They are not very comfortable, lack lumbar support, and don't have adjustable headrests. They also don't have the map holders on the back of the seats. I highly recommend anyone getting this vehicle get the bucket seats with lumbar support.
