Ford wins, but new Sequoia = "Game Over"

IMHO the Ford Expedition wins this comparison hands down, but now that Toyota has announced delivery of the new 2008 Sequoia next month (see todays article and brief review), it looks like "Game Over." Toyota has taken SUVs to the next level. The Sequoia provides more power, more torque, greater comfort, better handling, an efficient 6-speed automatic transmission ... Read More...

Ford Expedition Transmission Problems

Re: 07 Expedition EL transmission problems [buzzz1]

Thank you so much for your information. The delearship is working on the problem. I have been driving a 2008 model Expedition, same style and let me tell you there is a huge difference in the way the automobile drives and handles itself from the 2007. I am throughly upset at the fact I was sold a defective vehicle at top dollar price. It is a shame Ford was not more upfront ... Read More...

Ford Expedition Lease Questions

Re: Leasing an Expedition [dylcon]

Hi dylcon. Let's see just how much going with a 39 month lease instead of 36 months will lower this truck's monthly payment. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2008 Ford Expedition Limited 2WD that has an MSRP of $46,265 and a selling price of $40,681 through Ford Credit right now for 36 months with 10,500 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly ... Re: Car Man please help Lease questions 2007 Expedition 4X4 XLT [macsnjets]

Hi macsnjets. Let's work up a lease payment on this truck and see what we come up with. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2008 Ford Expedition XLT 4WD that has an MSRP of $39,875 and a selling price of $34,500 through Ford Credit right now for 39 months with 12,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment would be around $465. As you ... Read More...

Engine options

We'll wait until 2008 when all the bugs are work out to get one. Hopefully by then Ford will launch a diesel expedition. The diesel should get much better MPG and torque but may cut Hp some so its a tossup. We just got to wait and see... Hopefully wont make the hybrid and will make the diesel. -Cj Read More...

2007 Ford Everest/Expedition

New 2007 or 2008 Expedition - Everest vs. New GMC Yukon

Any thoughts on when we will see official infomation/photos on the updated Expedition and or the new extended version. I have heard it called Expedition Max, Expedition XL or Everest. We will be in the market this next year (earlier the better), but do not want to make a choice until I can see Ford's offering. Any info at all would be great. I have looked at the spyshots, ...
